SOS for Human Rights: the new campaign!

a cooperation of Jugendliche ohne Grenzen, GRIPS Theater Berlin, PRO ASYL, Borderline Europe, Flüchtlingsrat Berlin, Flüchtlingsrat Brandenburg, GEW and Berliner Beratungsstelle für junge Flüchtlinge BBZ - WeGe ins Leben e.V.

Keep the escape routes free!

Stop the undeclared war against refugees!

Implement human and children’s rights!

Europe is a union of peace and the borders are open. But whoever wants to enter from outside experiences Europe as a fortress.

SOS for Human Rights is the answer to the abuse of human rights against refugees committed at the external borders of the EU. Every year many people die while trying to cross the borders.

SOS for Human Rights consists of three units:

The play:

As the follow-up project of the Grips play „Hier Geblieben“ (Stay here!) in 2005 the play SOS for Human Rights will go on tour through Germany: Three adolescents have to leave their homes for different reasons. Their paths cross on the long and dangerous journey to Europe.

The mobile play by Susanne Lipp is a first showing by Grips Theater for people from 12 years onwards.

The campaign:

A timely unlimited program of various events, workshops, demonstrations and the play shall create awareness for the life-threatening situation of the refugees at the external borders and their hard life in the member states of the EU.

The appeal by the members of the nationwide refugees initiative „Jugendliche ohne Grenzen“ is the heart of the campaign. More than 20 organizations from all over Germany support the young refugees’ demands of the politicians. Click here to sign the appeal of Jugendliche ohne Grenzen.

SOS for Human Rights wants to inform Europe-wide, give a megaphone to the supposedly voiceless and stand up for their rights!

SOS for Human Rights is a campaign by Jugendliche ohne Grenzen, GRIPS Theater Berlin, PRO ASYL, Borderline Europe, Flüchtlingsrat Berlin, Flüchtlingsrat Brandenburg, GEW, und Berliner Beratungsstelle für junge Flüchtlinge BBZ - WeGe ins Leben e.V.
